Talk About Feeding Off Each Other

I just thought it was worth noting that after the Indians' 2-0 win over the A's, it has been 43.3 innings since a Cleveland starter has given up a run. That's amazing. They've gone through the whole rotation already. I guess with the offense scuffling, the pitchers decided to take it upon themselves to carry the team to the playoffs. So far it's working pretty well. If I'm not doing anything this weekend I may sit down and watch the five games - I do enjoy a good pitching performance. [Edit: Sadly, the streak was snapped by the A's in the second inning, making it 44.3 innings. That is still pretty incredible.]
