The Giants Win In A Blow-Out

Just kidding, but the Giants did end up winning their game with the Padres. How many runs did they score? One – in the ninth inning. San Fransisco starter Jonathan Sanchez was fantastic (6 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 10 K) and combined with the bullpen for a shutout. That’s how they are going to need to win games this year. They do have some good young pitching though; if Barry Zito could get back to being even an OK pitcher, then they have a chance to win a few games.
