Jackson, Harang, And Pray For... Tang?

Tampa Bay gets back in the win column with a 7-0 win over the Mariners. Edwin Jackson picks up his second win of the year for the Rays (8 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 4 BB, 6 K) and has an 0.64 ERA on the year. The guy’s only 24 and is a former top prospect with the Dodgers – maybe he’s finally putting it together.

Corey Patterson hit two more home runs for the Reds today. I’m just kidding (wouldn’t that be something though?). Edwin Encarnacion actually did, as Cincinnati beat the Brewers 4-1. Another good start by Aaron Harang (8 IP, 5 H, 1 R, 0 BB, 3 K). Harang has become a very consistent pitcher (and maybe one of baseball’s Aces) since coming over from the A’s (for Jose Guillen – not Billy Beane’s best move).
