Maybe They'll Shoot "Mr. Burns"

This is a couple of years old, but many of the points still apply. In any case, it's an amusing read. The writer compared each MLB team to a different Simpson's character.

The Orioles were Maggie, which sounds OK until you read the description.

"Never says or does much of anything, but constantly brought up in discussions by virtue of their close associates. Stubbornly hanging onto something disgusting despite other people's well-meaning efforts to take it away (pacifier, Sidney Ponson)."

At least, unlike on the TV show, Baltimore's Maggie is finally growing up.
